We went to Star Tannery today and brought Aspen and Roxy along for the ride. Since we didn't plan to have a little fun with the fire arms, we figured they'd enjoy the cool autumn breeze and the extra excercise. I ended up manning both dogs as hubby wanted to use his chain saw, measure the tree's circumference, and clear out a "20 foot radius around the perimeter of the tree to make a safe workplace." Yes, his words not mine.
I walked my babies and tried to find different routes to possibly drive a vehicle up to the location. This seems to be a necessary evil eventually so as to carry up tools and materials for the project. The view right now is beautiful and I also enjoyed snapping some shots of the red and orange mountain side as well as the fur babies taking in the scenery themselves.
However, I guess we have made our presence known to the neighbors, as there is a gate up on the property line in one location. Doesn't matter to us!
One day we hope for this, but until then, we'll continue blogging and dreaming up new schemes. :)
